Why can't I hear any sound?
If you are a Windows user, first check to make sure that you have a sound card installed using the following steps:
1. From the Start menu, point to "Settings."
2. Select "Control Panel."
3. Double-click on "System," then select the Device Manager tab.
4. Click "View Devices By Type," then click once on the plus sign next to "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers."
5. If you have a sound card, it will be listed here.

If you do have a sound card installed, but still cannot hear any sound, make sure that the connections to your external speakers are firmly seated and that the volume is adjusted to an audible level.

If you are a Macintosh user, make sure that your system settings for Sound are set properly by following these steps.
1. Go to the Apple menu and select "System Preferences."
2. Click "Sound."
3. Adjust Main volume slider control, and make sure the checkbox labeled "Mute" is unchecked.

How many different ways can I watch the Adventure Films?
The Adventure Films can be viewed as Streaming Videos on the Vallarta-Adventures.com website. This option is available in different sizes, allowing you to select the streaming video most suited to your internet connection speed.

Windows users who are unable to view the Streaming Videos on the website may also choose to download the Windows Media Player version of each film.

I'm having trouble viewing the site with Internet Explorer 5 on my Macintosh. What should I do?
We recommend Macintosh users view the site with Internet Explorer 5.1.

Streaming

NOTE: The streaming video will be displayed in a popup window. If you use an anti-popup program or feature with your browser, you must either bypass or deactivate it before attempting to view these files.

What is the difference between the streaming film sizes?
The smaller film sizes present the film in a smaller window dimension, and sacrifice some degree of clarity and color in order to conserve file size. These smaller film sizes are offered specifically to make the films available for those with slower internet connections.

What should I do if I have trouble viewing the streaming video?
If you are experiencing difficulty streaming a film, you may need to close and re-open your browser, and try again after 5 or 10 minutes. Due to overwhelming response and internet traffic, streaming quality may vary.

Why does the streaming film appear out of sync or choppy when viewing from the website?
If you have a slow internet connection, you are likely to experience interruptions and synchronization problems in the film playback. If this occurs, try selecting a smaller file size and restarting the playback.

Can I watch the films even if I have a slow internet connection?
If you have a slow internet connection, you are likely to experience interruptions and synchronization problems in the film playback. If this occurs, try selecting a smaller file size and restarting the playback.

If you still experience difficulty watching the films even at the smallest file size, you may wish to download the films. Even though the download may take some time, once completed you will be able to enjoy high quality playback without the interruptions caused by your internet connection.

I downloaded the film but now I can't figure out how to view it. What now?
If you have downloaded the films but cannot locate them on your hard drive, you can try searching for them.

If you are searching for a Windows Media Player version of a film, enter "*.wmv" in the field labeled "Search for Files or Folders Named."

I need to recover some space on my hard drive and want to delete one or more films. Where can I find them?
The films are located on your hard drive in the location you specified during the download process. If you are unsure where this location is, you can locate the films by searching for them. [See above]
